Moose Bow Kill Video
There are many good reasons on why you should practice shooting your bow from different angles, shot positions and terrains, but one of the most important things to practice is holding your draw. Luckily for this hunter, he was ready for a long draw holding experience and was able to keep his cool when staring down a gigantic bull moose ready to charge. This man was on a Yukon moose hunt when the hunter and his guide were able to call in a big old bull. The bull just kept coming closer and closer after the hunter drew, but was facing him head on. You could tell the hunter was getting a little nervous when he told the guide to “get the gun ready.”
All things were good though when he was able to put an arrow through the bull at 5 yards and then again at 30 and then watch the bull wobble and tip over. This just goes to show you, it’s good to be able to hold your draw back for extended periods of time, even when facing enormous animals.
Now practice up ladies and gentlemen.
