Covert Scouting Cameras MP-E5
There are many different trail and scouting cameras on the market today, but one that is rapidly growing in popularity that I think is a great bargain, is the Covert Scouting Camera MP-E5. Covert Scouting Cameras offer many makes and models at affordable prices for the average hunter. The one that I have used and have had a lot of success with is the Covert MP-E5 and it’s one of the best bargains in trail cameras.
This camera is Covert’s most affordable and easiest to use trail camera but what makes it truly special is the incredible battery life that it has. Running on eight AA batteries, the Covert MP-E5 is cheap to start and maintain, and I’ve been able to run cameras for over 6 months in frigid temperatures in Northern Wisconsin. Even with thousands of photos over the course of the hunting season, my Covert MP-E5 trail camera has lots of battery life and has not failed me once.
Covert MP-E5 Review
The LED lights allow for no flash on the MP-E5 and can take crystal clear pictures from up to 45 ft away. It also is a very small and compact camera that records videos for up to 10 seconds, which can be a helpful feature to see which direction deer are coming from. One of the newer features of trail cameras and the MP-E5 that I find extremely useful is that there is a stamp on each photo that records the information of the date, time, moon phase, and temperature.
With four easy to use pre-set buttons, this camera is very simple to set up, regardless of your prior experience to trail cameras. You can purchase the Covert MP-E5 for $74.99 right here on their website. This is one of the best prices in hunting for the quality and all of the features you receive.

Covert Trail Cameras are some of the best on the market and allow for all kinds of features and pricing
Covert also has a couple “no glow” models that cost more but eliminate any light illumination from the camera. This includes the red glow that LED cameras produce while taking a picture as well to ensure that deer will not be spooked. You can find these models and a full list of the Covert Scouting Cameras on their site as well.
