Cabelas Deluxe Cold Weather Socks

Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m a sock junkie. I love new socks. Wool socks, cotton socks, moisture wicking socks. Any of them. It’s one of the best feelings when you can take a new pair out and wear them and it feels SO DAMN GOOD. Also good to note, my feet get cold really fast, so I like warm feet. Anyway, recently I stopped at Cabelas and I saw these socks on sale, so I bought them and they’re awesome.

The Cabelas Deluxe Cold Weather Socks are great for the cold and for hunting

I’m fairly short, but these are a great length for boots coming up mid-to-high calf length. They are thick and wooly, but not so much that they get ruined in the dryer. They are also nice and warm, but if your feet sweat, they wick away the moisture. I never thought there was a better pair of socks than Smart Wool, and these aren’t better, but they’re cheaper and they’re pretty close.

If you go to the Cabelas.com and look up the reviews for the Cabelas Deluxe Cold Weather Socks, there are 498 reviews as of this writing. That’s a lot of reviews and it gets 5 stars. That tells me a lot right there and everyone raves about them. The reviews are similar to mine, mainly sock junkies who got their fix on the affordable Cabelas brand and are now wanting a pair for every day of the week.

The Perfect Hunting Sock

I wear mine as normal socks, but will definitely use them for hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. They are padded and fit well with my boots. I really am impressed by these socks from Cabelas and haven’t really found a product from them that I have been disappointed by. These socks retail at $14.99 but I got mine for $5 on sale.
