It’s New Years Eve and that means that everybody gets to celebrate. Well, nobody does it better than the guys at Full Mag. Hunting in Maine is no easy task. Big woods bucks are tough to kill and they live in some of the densest forests in the country. This lucky hunter, Alfred Bowden Jr., was able to score on this giant buck, a 274 pound pig. Bowden shot the buck in the Jackman, Maine area and didn’t believe the scale when it showed 274 pounds, so he went and got another. The second scale showed the same weights, so he finally was a believer. What an awesome and huge deer. Continue Reading

The late season may be depressing for some, but if you’ve got a high carb food source, you can certainly find the deer. Incredibly cold weather, snow storms and ice can be your best friend during the late season, and you don’t even need to get up early in the morning or stay out until dark to get your buck.
